Your next step is to follow the directions below to purchase and download your Connecticut Safe Boating Certificate from the State's website.  If you have any problems, please call or email us as we are happy to help you with this.

How to purchase and download your Connecticut Safe Boating Certificate 

Go to the Connecticut's Online Sportsman Licensing Page
Sign in using your Conservation ID
Click “Next” on the PC or “Enter Sales” on the Mobile
Click the pulldown in the upper right hand corner

Click "Purchase Licenses"

The Safe Boating Certificate is at the Bottom.  Also rember to click the Safe Waterski endorsement if you are over 16 and if you operate on inland bodies of water, you can also click on your AIS Stamp selection.

Click “Next”.  Then fill out the payment information and immediately after checkout you'll be able to download your Connecticut Safe Boating Certificate

Please keep in mind

It is a PDF Instant Download  
You Print it, save it, and sign it.  Nothing is mailed to you...no cards are issued
This is called a CPWO now and not “Boaters License”
You are issued a “CPWO Certificate #” which includes boating
Must be always with you while operating a Vessel or PWC

For your records, click on your instructor's name to download your Class Diploma.  This is not your State of Connecticut Boating Certificate

Still Need a Conservation ID

The purpose of the Conservation ID number is to make things easier for all outdoor activity enthusiasts. Instead of storing and carrying multiple pieces of paper, all of your outdoor Connecticut licensing activities will link to this number and appear when searched; this includes your “Safe Boating Certificate”.

 

How to get a Conservation ID Number

USING THE PC
Visit:  The CT Online Sportsman Licensing Page  
Click "New Customer"
Fill out your Name and Birthdate click "Continue"
Fill out this form in its entirety and click "Submit" and your new Conservation ID will appear at the top of the page.


USING THE MOBILE
Visit:   The CT Online Sportsman Licensing Page  
Click "Start"
Click "Search by "Conservation ID"
Enter your Date of Birth and use "1111" for a Conservation ID.  Click "Next"  You'll see a message in Red Font "You were not found in our records.  Please verify you entered the correct information."
Click "New Customer"
Fill out this form in its entirety and click "Save"
Your Name will appear in the upper left, Click on your name to see your new Conservation ID number.
